Star2Star's Solution starts with the StarBox, a super-reliable, solid-state, fanless on-premise PBX. Whether you are using a cable, DSL or T1 Internet connection this phone system provides powerful and unique calling features, voice menus, ring groups and call queues.  The StarBox offers hundreds of features, including many exclusive and upgraded capabilities. One of the most popular features is Star2Star's advanced version of call forwarding with a Find-Me/Follow-Me option where your office phone can ring at branch locations while also ringing your cell phone, home phone or even a laptop softphone. 

The Star2Star web-based advanced settings menu allows you to quickly build multi-layer automated attendant menus and setup ring groups, customer service queues, paging, and even customize your music on hold. Extensions can be tailored to allow or prohibit certain activities such as international calling or outbound calling. Users can set up their own speed dial, call forwarding, Find-Me/Follow-Me, voice mail options, call blocking and an "operator" designation if they are unavailable to answer a call. Plus, the latest company directory is always just a click away as a printout. We can even have your voice prompt professionally recorded if you wish. You can also keep your old number.  

Because our PBX and our Service are designed from the ground up for business we include support for multiple locations, remote "home office" extensions, directory listing, 911, fax machines, burglar alarms and credit card machines.

Star2Star monitors the quality of your phone calls from end-to-end around the clock at our Network Operating Center (NOC) with our StarWatch Monitoring technology and 24 hour support staff. Because we have an end-to-end solution we are able to provide a higher quality compression and get 250% more calls on your Internet connection than other solutions. The same compression together with other benefits of our integrated approach enable us to deliver superior call quality which sounds as good or even better than traditional phone service.  

We recognize the inherent difficulty in providing a quality solution over the Internet when so many things could go wrong and effect call quality. This is the reason that many PBX vendors use a bait and switch approach and try to sell you a new phone system using old fashioned phone service or expensive T1 lines.  Our response to this is to match each and every vulnerability of Internet phone service with an architecture that not only solves the problem but provides an even better solution than traditional phone service. The cost of our phone service is half of a typical business phone bill. In fact even after buying all new phone equipment most customers spend less money from the very first month for the phone system and phone service than they have been paying the traditional phone company for the service alone. BUSINESS CONTINUITY

If anything was to ever happen at your office to compromise your Internet connection, or if there was a lengthy power failure, the Star2Star service will mimic your phone system in our data center and reroute calls to a backup phone line or even to the cell phone of employees when their extension is dialed.

This feature also means the Star2Star System can form the basis for business contingency planning. If, in an emergency, it ever becomes necessary to vacate your place of business, the Star2Star System can be set to route calls from a desktop phone to any alternative phone such as a cell phone or an employee's home phone.

STAR2STAR SERVICE  

The End-to-End Solution from Star2Star includes StarService, our integrated internet-based phone service. StarService runs on the finest national network available. All calls are monitored 24x7x365 for quality. Even better, with StarService, typical monthly phone bills are cut by half or more. In fact, these savings are so great that, for most customers, when they finance their equipment purchase with Star2Star, the total monthly bill for hardware and service is usually less than what the old phone company was charging for service alone.  

StarService is delivered over your existing broadband, DSL, T1 or Fiber Internet or our Star2Star Voice Optimized Architecture (VOA) Internet connection and across your office network on a variety of phones to suit any application. All the features of the StarSystem are included in its base price. 1000 minutes of free domestic long distance is included with each Star2Star line; which is 250% of what three normal office users will consume in a month. This is averaged across all of your lines before any additional charges occur. Star2Star international are deeply discounted compared to what most phone service companies charge for domestic calls. For example, calls to the United Kingdom, France or Spain are less than 5 cents a minute.
