The Iwatsu Enterprise-CS 5.0 combines the
predominant industry protocols (SIP, VoIP and TDM) into one
encompassing platform. The unique platform converges voice and
data traffic for higher cost savings, and is backwards
compatible with previous Iwatsu platforms.

interface to Iwatsu Enterprise TOL, Iwatsu's Unified

Text to Speech: The Iwatsu
Enterprise TOL Unified Communications platform features text to
speech technology that allows users to receive their email
messages over the phone. Nuance® RealSpeakTM is used
to convert and read text from email messages in the most human
sounding male and female voices available. Replies can then be
sent by recording a response via the phone, which is
automatically attached to the reply email as a .wav file.
Presence: Route calls based on
caller ID, time of day, call type, account codes and more.
Synchronize appointments in Microsoft® Outlook®
calendars with customized availability rules and redirect
incoming calls quickly. Quickly see the status of
colleagues and their availability - even mobile workers - with
the new Mobile Link software. Use Assign My Calls feature
to easily redirect calls to another extension or group of
contacts when unavailable for extended periods. Use
availability filters to further customize available and even
redirect incoming calls based on call origin. Receive
notifications when "busy" users become available.
Mobility: Access a fully
web-based client manager using the most popular Symbian® and
Windows Mobile® mobile devices. In addition to full presence
control via the cell phone, email and voice messages are managed
in real-time, just as they would be from the desktop. Remotely
access all voice and email messages from a phone, PC or wireless
device. Use the Follow Me feature in the new locations
based design to build and assign a directory of numbers for the
system to ring. Retrieve callers leaving a voice message,
or redirect ringing calls to another extension. Utilize
Mobile LinK, the newly developed Unified Communications applet,
to remotely access the Iwatsu Enterprise Suite's UC features
from popular Symbian® or Windows Mobile® phones. Use
LanTalk, an internal instant messaging application, to
communicate text message (SMS) with contacts from a PC or any
compliant WAP device such as a mobile phone.
Administrators can conveniently record and change system
greetings, menu options and announcements from anywhere.
Networking: Out of the box, the
Iwatsu Enterprise Suite fully supports IP Networking.
Organizations can have an office down the street and another
across the globe; main and remote offices alike communicate like
they're under one roof. Up to 16 separate offices can be
networked globally to communicate with 100% transparency between
locations. This transparency means all locations share the same
system features and applications centrally located on one main
system.
That
means reduced hardware, software and maintenance costs at
individual office locations. So not only does Iwatsu Enterprise
IP Networking bridge communication gaps, it's a more hassle-free

fully transparent as well. For example, an important call rings
the New York office. The Enterprise Suite recognizes the call is

office. Moreover, he is on the way to an off-site meeting. No
problem. The caller selects the Locate This Party feature, and
the Iwatsu Enterprise Suite uses the LA office’s system
to place the call to the salesman’s mobile.
